Message From Dave: Just wanted let all the BT fan's out there (whom might be interested) know that I am teaching guitar lessons and I am currently taking on new students in the Los Angeles, Orange County, and Southern California Areas. I have been teaching guitar since the age of 14. I teach all styles and techniques as well as music theory and orchestration. I have done many clinics throughout the world focusing on technique and writing and have worked with many artist in the studio and at home. Age is no limit, I currently have students that range in ages from 6 years old to sixty and have recently joined forces with Schecter Guitars and I am excited about working with them on the teaching front as well. I can come to you or you can come to me..... I have all the tools to make lessons functional and easy and I provide everything! In the times when the band tours I have the capability to do web lessons and keep lesson plans consistent so there is no break in the teaching process. Bleeding Through & Rise Records Join Forces Orange County, California -- Bleeding Through and Rise Records have joined forces. The Southern California based band, who celebrates their 10 Year Anniversary next month with a West Coast tour, is proud to announce their alliance with Rise Records, the Portland based independent record label. "We're very excited to align with a record label that has so much momentum and is growing when many seem to be faltering, dropping bands and firing employees," said frontman Brandan Schieppati. "Rise continues to grow. We've been a band for a decade and we wanted to be with someone who is enthusiastic about Bleeding Through and is in a position to help us continue to grow and progress as well." Rise Records president Craig Ericson had this to say about the signing. "We are beyond excited to work with Bleeding Through. We've been huge fans ever since their release on Indecision Records. Having Bleeding Through in the family is a dream come true. We both share extreme passion for music and can't wait to show the world what we can achieve together as a team." Bleeding Through has sold over a quarter million records around the world over the course of their career. Zambooie.com & Revolver Magazine Present The "Declaration" Tour, the first U.S. headlining trek from Orange County's Bleeding Through in over three years. Joining Bleeding Through on the dates will be Acacia Strain, As Blood Runs Black and Impending Doom. BLEEDING THROUGH ANNOUNCE FIRST EVER SHOWS IN RUSSIA, MEXICO Declaration set for Sept. 30 release in N. America, Sept. 26 in Europe

Bleeding Through will two territories for the first time this year: Mexico and Russia. They will headline four shows in Russia in December and will perform in Mexico City this month as part of the "Warped Tour Pre-Fiesta" with Underoath and MxPx.

"These are two places we have always wanted to go," says singer Brandan Schieppati. "Earlier this year, we went to Indonesia, Malaysia and Alaska for the first time. We want to go and play anywhere people want to hear us."

The band is on tour in the US right now on the No Fear Music Tour with Bullet For My Valentine and will continue to support them throughout Europe with Lacuna coil in November and December. They will also take part in the first ever "Liskfest" in Orange County, California, together with bands like Pennywise, Gorilla Biscuits and more. And there are a few dates that Bleeding Through is headlining with special guests in the US (see below).

Bleeding Through's new album, Declaration, will hit stores in North America on September 30 via Trustkill and will be released in Europe a few days earlier through Trustkill / Nuclear Blast Records.

A new song, "Orange County Blonde and Blue," has already garnered nearly 100,000 plays on MySpace. Another new track, "Death Anxiety," is streaming on Trustkill.com through a promotion with To Die For Clothing. Bleeding Through's last two albums have sold over a quarter of a million copies worldwide. Declaration was produced by Devin Townsend and promises to be the band's heaviest, angriest and most diverse offering thus far.

Bleeding Through has toured with Ozzfest (twice), Vans Warped Tour, AFI, Marilyn Manson, Slayer, HIM, Senses Fail, "Headbanger's Ball: The Tour" and on several of their own international headlining tours.

Hey All very sorry we haven't updated this news section in a while. Right now we are in the studio in Vancouver, Canada with producer Devin Townsend making our new album, Declaration, which we hope to release this summer. As soon as we're done recording and mixing, we'll be hitting a bunch of festivals in Europe as long as "side-shows" with Throwdown. We have a MAJOR US tour in the works for the summer as well. In other news, have you ever wondered how the pictures for our last album, The Truth, were created? Well, designer Don Clark (who also plays guitar for Demon Hunter) just gave a bunch of conceptual sketches and a series of work-in-progress photos from "The Truth" to MTV News and wrote a blog for MTV's Headbanger's Blog wso be sure to check that out. It was really cool to see how that all came together a few years ago.

We have confirmed dates in Australia, New Zealand and South East Asia! We will make the stop after our appearance at Australia's Soundwave Festival along side The Offspring and Incubus. Brandan says "We are excited to go to a place we never though we would have the chance to go and meet new people and play in front of excited people". This is our first appearance in the region with shows scheduled in New Zealand, Malaysia and Indonesia happening late February and early March of 2008. This will conclude ours touring in support of last year's album, The Truth. We have toured the US six times on The Truth, including runs with Slayer, Marilyn Manson, HIM, Senses Fail and Ozzfest. We have also visited Australia once before on the album, as well as Europe and their first ever shows in Alaska. Our new album will be called Declaration and will be released in 2008. Thanks guys!

We'll be making the trip north, to Alaska. There has been a great response to these two shows that we'll be playing in Fairbanks, and Anchorage. Bleeding Through will support Marilyn Manson and Slayer on their co-headline tour this summer. "I can't say how excited we are about this tour," said singer Brandan Schieppati."These are two bands that we have all loved for years, with really diverse fans. Our band certainly draws a little from both sides of the line." Bleeding Through has been on tour supporting The Truth, hailed as one of the most important metal releases in recent memory by Billboard, Metal Edge, Metal Hammer and Kerrang!. The band's keyboard player, Marta, will be featured on the cover of Revolver's next issue, which hits stands later this month. The European tour was a blast, thanks to everyone who came out. As some of you may have heard, there has been a member change in Bleeding Through, the first member change in over three years. Scott Danough is no longer a member of Bleeding Through. We felt that we had grown apart and it was time for both parties to move on. We wish him the best. We are already writing new material and looking forward to our next tour, which will be in Canada. Our friend Jona from I Killed The Prom Queen will be stepping in. See you all soon!

Bleeding Through have completed a new music video! "Line in the Sand" is the Orange County band's third video from "The Truth," hailed by Alternative Press, Revolver, Metal Edge, Metal Hammer, Kerrang! and Billboard magazines as one of the most important heavy releases of the last year and embraced by fans the world over. The video for "Line in the Sand" was filmed in Los Angeles under the watchful eye of acclaimed director Dan Dobi (Cannibal Corpse, Paramore) and MTV Video Music Award winning executive producer Shane Drake (Armor For Sleep, Blindside). "The song is about a relationship I was in with someone who made me feel ugly and empty," commented singer Brandan Schieppati. A performance based clip, the video is stripped down and bare in comparison with the horror-themed videos for "Love in Slow Motion" and "Kill to Believe," as seen on MTV2. "We love the other videos from this album," Schieppati explained. "But we hadn't made a cut-loose-and-destroy performance video in a while, not since 'Love Lost...' from the last album, so we went for it." Australian Tour!: | March 15, 2006
We're coming to Australia! We will be co-headlining four shows with As I Lay Dying (Brisbane, Byron Bay, Newcastle and Sydney) and playing four more shows of our own: Adelaide, Perth and two gigs in Melbourne. If you've seen our DVD you KNOW we love Australia! We can't wait to get back! The tour begins May 17th. After that, in June, we'll play the Download Festival in the UK with Metallica, Guns N' Roses, Tool, and then of course, Ozzfest in the US!

The last couple of nights have also been sold out! And tickets are going fast for the show in Chicago so make sure to get those soon if you live there. This tour is turning out to be so killer! Get your tickets now no matter what town you live in and get to the shows early. We also wanted to tell you that we will be playing the UK this summer at Caste Donnington for the Download Festival! It's a legendary festival and a legendary venue that we are honored to be asked to perform at. We know that Metallica and Guns N' Roses (the version with Axl and those newer dudes) are confirmed. We don't know which day we are playing yet.

Seven nights, seven sold-out shows! You guys are unbelievable! Our fans rule. The show in Los Angeles had 1300 people. Our good friend Howard Jones from Killswitch Engage did guest vocals while AFI's Davey Havok danced in the pit. And then at one of our two sold out shows at the Pound in San Francisco, we met one of our idols, Robb Flynn from Machine Head! All of the bands on this tour are great and we're having a blast! "The Truth" is the #1 independent release this week in the US! The album debuted at #48 on the Billboard 200 and we would like to thank all of our fans for supporting us. If you haven't gotten the album yet, what are you waiting for? We're very proud of it. It's the strongest selling debut in our label's history, which means our fans are strong and that you really care about us. Over in the UK, where we are headed now for our tour, the album debuted at #6 on the rock charts and #153 on the "Top 200" and at #153 on the Top 200! In Canada "The Truth" is #10 on the Hard Music Chart and #83 on the Billboard chart. The press has been killer, too.
